The stack behind RUU

RUU delivers a fully managed, local-first voice stack, speech-to-text, language models, text-to-speech, and voice skinning all powered by dedicated GPUs in a unified orchestration. This eliminates external API chains and network hops, enabling blazing-fast 300–500 ms end-to-end responses, even with full voice customization active.

LLM Core

8B-parameter instruction-tuned model, 4-bit quantized for 300 tps inference on 24GB GPU. Streams first sentence <200ms; 30ms avg response in live calls with 2-3 turn context. Handles concurrent sessions stably.

STT Pipeline

Large-v3 GPU-accelerated ASR tuned for telephony; 10s audio in 20ms via chunked decoding. Integrates Silero VAD for <5ms interruption detection and natural turn-taking. Eliminates dead-air bottlenecks.

Streaming TTS

Neural TTS generates 40ms audio chunks with 11ms time-to-first-audio; locksteps with LLM output. Benchmarks barge-in halt <100ms and long-turn stability. Enables immediate speech onset post-LLM.

RVC V2 Skinning

Retrieval-based voice conversion post-TTS; 30ms overhead with protect params 0.33-0.50 by sound type (voiced/unvoiced/fillers). Achieves 99.2% biometric consistency across breaths, ums, speech. Preserves human paralinguistics.

Latency Profile

End-to-end: STT(20ms) → LLM(30ms) → TTS(40ms) → RVC(30ms) = 300-500ms full loop incl. routing. Stays within 200ms human turn-taking window per Stivers et al. No external API hops.

Orchestration Layer

SAVOIR was founded in 2016. Since then, we’ve worked with clients across different industries, supporting both their development and marketing needs. We’ve been working on RUU for years. Even with our development experience, it took a lot of time and effort, because RUU isn’t a basic AI model. We were building something that most providers still don’t offer in one place: a complete, managed solution that’s designed to run smoothly in the real world. Unlike platforms that require you to stitch together multiple services and manage the moving parts yourself, RUU is built to be fully managed and maintained by us, so you can stay focused on your business, save costs, and scale without the usual operational headache.


RUU is our first AI model, and it’s the result of that same long-term, engineering-first mindset. We’ve iterated on it continuously, testing it in real scenarios, improving reliability, and refining the details that make voice AI work in production (not just sound good in a demo). Our goal is simple: set a higher standard for the industry with a solution that feels like a real product, backed by a team that’s been building for years.

Does it sound like a robot?

Not at all. Your customers likely won't even realize they are speaking to an AI. Our system uses advanced voice cloning that captures natural human speech patterns, including breaths, slight pauses, and friendly tones. Plus, it responds in under half a second, which is the exact speed of a normal human conversation, so there are no awkward silences or lagging delays.

What if the AI doesn't know the answer?

If the AI doesn't know the answer, it won't just guess or make things up. It is trained to gracefully admit it doesn't have that specific information and will immediately offer to transfer the caller to you or one of your staff members. You have complete control over what information the AI uses by uploading your own business documents and FAQs.

Can it actually book meetings for me?

Yes, it handles the entire booking process for you. The AI connects directly to your existing calendar, checks your real-time availability while on the call, and books the appointment on the spot. Once the time is secured, it can even automatically send a confirmation text or email to the customer so you don't have to lift a finger.

Do I need to get a new phone number?

You don't have to change a thing. You can simply forward your existing business number to the AI system, or we can port your number over directly. If you do want a completely new number just for the AI to handle certain campaigns or overflow calls, we can set that up for you in minutes.

How exactly does the pricing work?

We don't do hidden fees or surprise markups. You pay a flat rate for the dedicated server space that runs your AI, plus a fraction of a cent for the actual phone minutes used. Because we run our own infrastructure instead of paying third-party cloud wrappers, our system ends up being about three times cheaper than traditional answering services and far less expensive than our AI competitors.

What if a customer gets angry on the call?

Yes, the AI has built-in sentiment analysis that detects the emotional tone of the caller in real time. If it senses that a customer is becoming frustrated, the AI will automatically slow down, adopt a more empathetic tone, and proactively offer to transfer the call to a human manager so the situation can be resolved smoothly.

I'm not a software developer. Is this going to take me weeks to figure out how to use?

It's designed to be completely user-friendly, and you don't need to write a single line of code. Most of our clients are fully set up and taking live calls in just three to four days. All you have to do is upload your business documents, connect your calendar, and tell the system how you want it to handle your calls using plain English

How do I know what was said on the calls?

You get a complete, searchable record of everything. After every call, the system instantly logs a full audio recording and a written transcript into your dashboard. It will also automatically summarize the key points of the conversation and push those notes directly into your CRM, so your customer records are always up to date without any manual data entry.

Will this work with the tools I already use, or do I need to change everything?

In most cases, it works with what you already have. The platform connects with calendars, CRMs, SIP carriers, helpdesks, and custom APIs, so you usually do not need to rebuild your existing setup just to start using it

How long will it take before this is actually live for my business?

Usually, setup takes around 3–4 days once your voice, business info, and workflows are configured, so you can get started pretty quickly without a long implementation cycle.

Is this going to create more work for my team, or actually save them time?
